Financial inclusion

Leading the Product Design team for &Co Pay's conception – Natura&Co's fintech – I had the privilege to collaborate with an exceptional team of designers, product managers, and engineers to craft financial solutions that fit the needs of Natura, Avon, and The Body Shop to deliver shared value to the businesses, clients and stakeholders involved.

Navigating the complexities of a diverse ecosystem, from retail stores of The Body Shop to the vast network of Natura and Avon consultants was a big challenge. It required a systemic approach in order to understand the context of what we were building, everyone in the same page and also promote an unified team spirit.

To address this, I planed and led co-creation workshops, including design sprints and ecosystem mapping sessions, engaging both team members and key stakeholders.

My role was to steer the design operation strategically, manage a lean and highly productive design team, and ensure that our design decisions resonated with our diverse user base, from internal clients to consultants and resellers.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly updated stakeholders on the progress of design activities.
     

  • Team Alignment: Ensured the team had a deep understanding of the interdependent and interconnected nature of the product and service context we were navigating.
     

  • Collaboration with Leadership: Worked closely with product and engineering leaders to plan and structure the conception of financial products and services for the new company within the group.
     

  • User-Business Alignment: Aligned business needs with user behavior in the realm of financial services in Brazil.
     

  • Design Mentorship: Guided and nurtured the design team, fostering growth, skill enhancement, and a culture of continuous learning.
